For over thirty years, LoDan has been growing with the electronics industry, building its business on interconnect technology, and advancing into the sophisticated technology demands of contract manufacturing. Originally founded as a manufacturer's rep firm in 1967, the business evolved into a distribution company, then a cable assembly company and now includes contract manufacturing.

The story of LoDan Electronics has been the story of the electronics business. Over its history, LoDan has worked in partnership with its customers and suppliers. This has been done with:

Cross-functional teams are utilized with both customer and supplier relationships on product development projects to reduce cycle time and demonstrate value. Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) to assist customers is a key ingredient for success. The LoDan team analyzes customer needs at the very earliest phases of the design/manufacturing process. This establishes the most cost-effective solutions for each product and application need. The result is reduced material cost and higher quality output levels.

LoDan owns a 100,000 sq. ft. facility located in close proximity to O'Hare International Airport northwest of Chicago.

LoDan currently has 200 employees in the U.S.. LoDan's business is managed by a seasoned team of professionals with almost 200 years of cumulative experience in the industry.
